Welcome to Somerton Park Kindergarten
Somerton Park Kindergarten is a full time centre operated by the Department of Education & Children's Services (DECD).
The centre is situated approximately 12 kilometres south west of the city of Adelaide in the attractive seaside suburb of Somerton Park, South Australia.
In a well shaded, natural environment we endeavour to provide a safe, caring, stimulating, high quality learning environment which develops physical, emotional, social and intellectual skills through a play based curriculum.
We work in partnership with our families to meet the needs of each child and we embrace the principles of sustainability to empower our community.

Session Times
Our session times are:
| Monday - Thursday: | 8:15am - 3:45pm |

All of our children attend 30 hours of kindergarten over a 2 week period.
There are 2 groups:
Group A: (Children who will go to school north of the
kindergarten)
These children attend on Monday and Tuesday every week.
Group B: (Children who go to school south of the kindergarten)
These children attend on Wednesday and Thursday every week.
